unforgettable sunday trip

My ex-housemates and I went to KL to get our heavy and ugly convocation robe last Sunday. I have been dreaming of going to and fro KL in a day of 8 hours traveling and well, I got that last Sunday and it has been an unforgettable one. Quite eventful. There were 5 of us, me, Chin Meng, Yee Chiun, Sok Ching and Ping Meng. On the way there, nothing much happened, we just did the usual when girls meet girls-gossips. Lol.. When we reached Bangi in 4 hours, a record time, though we got lost and somehow reached Bangi just in time before the counter closed at 12pm, the sun was up there cooking our hair making way to our brain. And looking at the queue made me want to turn back but phew~ now we are under Pharmacy Faculty so Yee Chiun and I got to get our robe upstairs away from the scorching sun. Pity the others for standing under the sun for at least 15 minutes...Malaysia system. So the total of robes we got we a whooping 13 for 5 of us! Helping the others to get. Yee Chiun had the most-4 including her own. The car boot was packed with the robes.

After getting the robes and catching up with some friends, we headed to Setapak for lunch as Sok Ching had to pass something to her junior. This is where it all started. Yee Chiun ordered a fish and chip at Little Tree and it came 30minutes later and her stomach had been drumming and growling since we left UKM. Hers came when we all finished ours. We did complain and ask for it a few times and pity the waiter apologizing profusely as there was only a chef. There was a point, where Yee Chiun showed her dark face to us and clenched her fists dramatically and the waiter passed by and saw it. And guess what happened in the end. We got a 20% discount! Haha.. Yee Chiun said she should have overdone it like flipping the table over. Lol..

On the way back, we stopped by a restroom at the roadside before Tapah. There, Yee Chiun found a wallet in a toilet cubicle. Wow~that was the 3rd wallet I found together with her in 4 years. Lol.. It belonged to a Malay girl who is a prebet at Taiping military camp..airbase I think. There was no contact number except for the camp number and about RM200 in there and also the military ID. So, we called the number and tried to contact her but the person in charge said that they did not have her contact number and asked Yee Chiun to post the wallet back to the camp. There was a Malay man offering to send the wallet to the camp as he was on his way to Taiping. But there was about RM200 in there so we declined his offer. Once we got into the car, the owner called Yee Chiun and asked her whereabouts and told us her bus just passed Gopeng exit. And we were not there yet and said would post the wallet by PosLaju the next day. She then texted to tell us she just passed Ipoh Utara Tol and 5minutes later we passed by the tol. And we all started to watch out for Konsortium bus to Taiping. Konsortium bus is famous for their speed but luckily we passed by the Taiping bus when we were in the tunnel. We told the girl to tell the driver to stop at the Sg. Perak resthouse but it was either she was too shy to tell the driver or the bus driver refused to, the bus stopped outside the resthouse at the highway. And we had to walk out all the way to the bus. The bus driver was sooo impatient, seeing that we were already reaching the bus, he started to drive away. The girl came down when we reached, she didn't even thought of coming down and meeting us halfway. And then she took out Rm50 to give us. I shooed her away. We are not beggars k. We are just doing our job.

Well, that was it. The end. Lol..
