bedtime stories

Watched it yesterday and hung out till 2am, ended up squirming restlessly in my chair with a numb brain. It was overall a fine movie with lots of sarcastic remarks and funny parts where noone seemed to get except me who laughed through the whole show, unstoppable. Adam Sandler is indeed a natural genius. Skeeter has to babysit his nephew and niece at night when the morning-shift Jill goes to night class. He is a handyman in a hotel which used to be a motel run by his dad. The current owner of the hotel once promises Skeeter's dad that he will return the hotel to his son, Skeeter and let him manage it. Skeeter has been waiting for the day for eternity. So, at night before turning in, he will tell the kids bedtime stories where the kids modify and inject hilarious and creative scenes into it, spicing the whole story up. And guess what, it happens, every story they make happens to Skeeter in real life, only those parts conjured by the kids. Skeeter figures it out and makes them say he gets a cherry red ferrari for free, saves a beautiful damsel in distress and gets a kiss etc etc. The last story was the funniest where it ends up with Skeeter being incinerated to ashes as he tells the kids there is no happy ending in real life. And it happens!! Not literally but he is FIRED by the hotel owner. Lol.. oppsss...My mistake. Well, it was worth watching just for the best medicine. Don't underdemanciate me...

I saw the ad for 'Confessions Of A Shopaholic', I can't damn wait to watch it! Hope it's as good as the book.
