just to drop by to share something
i find that aubergine is the most fattening vege i have ever come across
aka eggplant, brinjal, terung, ngai kua, qie zi
why isn't it called zi gua or purple vege?
why doesn't is have a 'purple' in its name?
don't let its sweet innocent long purplish appearance trick you..
not only long
there are short too and round and purplish
it is the most fattening food you and i have ever eaten
don't be mesmerized by the look of it when cooked with the dried prawns and all
it is actually sitting there absorbing all the oil there is
and waiting for you to chopstick it up and open your mouth
once your teeth sink into its flesh
all the juice gushes out and you just have you shut your mouth
oohh..yummy...noooo...
it used to be on the top of my brother's and my most-hated-vege list
but now it has been demoted to my least hated food
i wonder if my brother is the same
oh well
all this is just my thought alone and no FACT
